Idea from Chef Michael Smith

While last weekend my husband went to work, I went garage saleing to hunt down some mason jars.  And that is exactly what I found!  I enjoy Chef Michael Smiths idea of putting everything in these jars so that things are easy to find, and also keeps food fresh!   So after Douglas got home, I had him help me re-organize our pantry.  Needless to say we now have everything in mason jars!  From chili peppers to rice, to noodles and flax seed They ALL ended up in a jar!  We had a tonn of fun doing it....riiiiight hunny!?  Well I did anyhow!  Love you babe

And of course I had to do the spices too~!

So last week I was visiting my friend Jess, her girlfriend came over with her baby and I was introduced to this lil' man whose name is LUKE.  He is such a sweet little guy who wouldn't stop smiling at me....such a little flirt~! I couldn't resist snapping a couple of shots of him while he was around!

An Angel added to the Family!

       So this morning I arose and headed over to the west side of Calgary, where I had the opportunity to photograph a Family who just gave birth to a brand new baby girl Julia. She is only 9 days old and is the most alert little girls I’ve ever seen.   As she went onto her tummy, she proceeded to LIFT her head…did I mention she is ONLY 9 days old!? Wowzer!!  She stayed awake the entire time I was there, and fell asleep just at the last.  Her BIG brother was a little shy but it was very evident that he is proud to have Julia as a sister.  Congrats Jared and Jeanelle on your new addition to the family.  She is SOO sweet and precious, can’t wait to do pics outside when the weather is nicer! 

Sharleen and Spencer ENGAGED!!!

Ahhh so yes Sharleen and my little brother Spencer are tying the knot!!  Can’t believe my family will be TOGETHER 2 times in ONE year!  Crazy!

      Taking photos of Spencer is a challenge on any day of the year, let alone being focused on him for 2 days.  Man what a challenge to get him to look good and to stop acting like a goof. Ha ha! We got some great shots regardless, thanks to Shar having patients for her new fiance! Congrats and can’t wait to do the wedding!

Boudoir is a classy and beautiful way to see ourselves.  Through the eye of the camera we can embrace our inner beauty as well as the outer beauty we all have.  Different lighting and angles can capture the most heirloom images for our husbands, fiances and boyfriends.  With these photos I can promise you, that you are more gorgeous than you think!

So yes this is Warner, or woowoo which our 3yr old niece calls him.  He is quite the rambunctious character who tests my patience pretty much EVERY day!  So far he has celebrated 4 birthdays in which I think might have been forgotten about because he still acts as tho he is just a young pup who is still learning how to behave!   We love him dearly and although we have gone through 2 kennels and working on salvaging the 3^rd one, he definitely keeps us on our toes!

A Taste for something Different!

    So today I was asked to go and take some pictures of some condo suites that hardwood flooring was placed in.

     These suits were SA-WEET! ha ha!  It's nice going into a place where there is just plain simplicity!  No clutter or mess, and everything was "just so" in order: everything my house is not!  Staging houses/condos for  photos  is definitely something that takes talent.  I truly appreciate those who have this ability to turn a house or condo into a place that is essentially "show" suite worthy! 

     Todays focus was suppose to be on the hardwood, but I couldn't resist capturing some of the decor that was right in front of me!
