Spencer and Shar- TEASER till they return!!
Just over a week ago, I picked up my mother and as the days moved on, I had my entire family out in Alberta for the biggest Shin-dig since my wedding ha ha! Spencer ( my little bro) got married this past weekend, and the day couldn't have turned out more perfect. They had amazing weather and it was an incredible wedding on a ranch just northwest of Sundry. Minus all the driving we did, everything went smoothly when we arrived. Steph and I were pleasantly surprised at the "relaxed" atmosphere that the bride and groom were in. Sharleen had no problem running around the ranch with her vale on and seeing the guests as they arrived. When the time was around 1:55, (wedding started at 2pm) Sharleen at one point said 'lets start, i'm getting the butterflies" which I thought was cute...so eager to marry this HAZELWOOD......does she know how craZy we are!? But as we pushed Luke, Jake, Spence, Misty, and Katie down the isle, Sharleen came down the stairs absolutely beautiful! Her dad was so proud, and as they held on to each other they made their way to the seats filled with friends and family from across Canada.
The vows were said, papers were signed and the kiss was 'dipped' We headed off to some beautiful spots to take some amazing pics!
I told Spencer and Shar that I wouldn't post any pics until they had seen them first. So when they return, next saturday, check back for more!

Wedding in Olds, AB
To begin this day off, I was a little nervous. When I woke up and was ready to go meet Ash for make-up, I nearly was blown away! The wind was so strong my dress went flying and my hair was everywhere. The last thing we needed was a tornado ripping through this little town of Olds. The sky was dark and I feared the rain. I made it over to Mr.Norman's and there to my surprise was all the girls sipping on Tim Hortons Coffee and NONe of them worried in the least about the weather! "Oh it'll clear up' they said! umm ok.
As the day went on, make-up was finished, hair had been 'done' and now time for the dress. When Ash came out of the room, she looked STUNNING in every way. All I could think was WOW, Robin is gonna love this! As her mom figured out the corset, the girls slipped into their dresses and soon everyone was 'lookin' good! With a few shots outside the limo showed up and we were on our way to have this amazing wedding! The ceremony was beautiful, they both said "I DO" and with sun shining brightly we capture some beautiful pics of both this bride and groom.

Summers almost gone...
Well summer has come and is almost gone without us even knowing. I woke up this morning with a chill under my duvet blanket. Crazy how just one morning it hits ya and the next thing you know we'll have snow falling here in Calgary. As for what we did enjoy of the summer, the sunsets have been unbelievable, stampede was entertaining............both good and bad, and the flowers have bloomed into gorgeous colours! Among all our happy days, we had sad ones too. Moving into new places, our friends are departing the 'ol house, and moving on with life. Hope everyone enjoys the rest of what we do have! I have 2 weddings this months, so keep an eye out for postings!
This is my basil plant that I started at the beginning of summer. We have some almost every night, totally fantastic!
Moving day, great friends, lots of sweat (and stinky boys), no tears, and of course a good 'ol U HAUL storey to tell: went to pick up trailer, lights didn't work. 1st guy tests, he was french....didn't do anything. 2nd guy tested truck, still nothing. sat around for 2 hours before the 3rd guy came out and tested Dougs truck (again), finally Doug finds the problem, and THEN we find out not all the lights are working anyways. GRRRR...
